For over 40 years Mech-Tool has led the field in the design and manufacture of products that protect people and plant from fire, blast and noise.
Back in the early days, we focused primarily on the design, engineering and fabrication of firewalls, blast walls and heat shields for offshore platforms. Since then we’ve gone on to evolve our product range into three core areas – modular; fire, blast and insulation; and acoustic – quickly becoming the supplier of choice for a range of high hazard industries worldwide. From Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Renewable, to Chemical, Petrochemical and Defence.
Based in Darlington in the North East of England, with additional quayside manufacturing and assembly facilities in nearby Middlesbrough, our 170-strong multi-disciplined team offers a genuine end-to-end service or ‘one-stop shop’: design, engineering fabrication, project management, supply and installation. All of which is delivered to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 accredited standards.
