Mech-Tool Engineering Limited Lands Contract on BP Kinneil Scheme

Burnt Island Fabrications (BiFab) has awarded the contract for the supply of fire and blast relief walls and specialist fire louvres on the BP Kinneil project to Mech-Tool Engineering Limited.

The onshore terminal processes crude oil from the North Sea and is an integral part of the BP Forties Pipeline System.

Mech-Tool Engineering Limited will provide highly specialised fire louvres which will allow blasts to transfer through the wall systems as well as deflect these up, over and away from hazards.
