MAN Turbo AG Schweiz has awarded Mech-Tool Engineering a project valued at more than one million GBP for the BP Valhall Acoustic Equipment and Enclosures for Compressor strings 1 to 4.

Mech-Tool's scope of work will involve the design, manufacture, inspection and supply of four off compressor noise mitigation packages complete with ventilation, lighting, fire detection and fire suppression systems. The work is due for completion November 2008.
