Mech-Tool presses the case for engineering excellence

A NORTH-EAST engineering firm has concluded a major equipment investment designed to enhance its in-house capabilities and establish it as a leading preparation facility for steel fabrication in the region.

Darlington-based Mech-Tool Engineering Limited, which specialises in fire, blast and noise protection products, has invested more than £500,000 on an 800-tonne Ermaksan CNC press brake supplied and installed by another North-East company, AFM Europe.
